RABBIT_TAKEOVER · Narrative edition
Snap
The masked rabbit, its tall ears seemingly alert to some unheard sound, hopped slowly in front of the old factories. Its passage had an eerie quality, as if the air surrounding it were slightly disturbed, like the calm before a storm. The other rabbits, a few wary and some curious, some bored, gathered around, following but not quite touching the lone figure.
The rabbit stopped in front of an abandoned building, its paint-peeling walls and broken windows a testament to better days. It seemed as if the rabbit were looking out at the world with a mixture of sadness and curiosity, as if it were silently asking questions of the wind and the sun, an odd figure in a strange and magical time.
Then, as if it had suddenly sensed its audience, the rabbit quickly turned around and, with a few short hops, disappeared into the darkness of the factory. The other rabbits, mesmerized, watched for a few seconds before slowly dispersing.
The masked rabbit, mysterious and ever so slightly surreal, had now become part of the secret lore of this old place, a reminder of the strange and wonderful things that can happen in our most special corner of the world.
