Nell

Nell

The sky was a vivid and electric pink, deeper than the sunset, but more alive and dynamic than any sunrise. Blending into a soft yellow that felt like a summer day, it seemed magical and almost artificial. It was the kind of sky that could be seen only in the aftermath of something terrible.

The lone rabbit, Nell, unaware of the danger, entered the area that had been contaminated by the nuclear accident. Everywhere, there were still scattered fires burning and the ground glowed green with radioactivity. The rabbit, little knowing the risk, hopped around merrily on top of the burning embers, as though nothing was wrong.

Nell seemed to be dancing, and the ground seemed to be alive, pulsing with an unknown energy. The whole scene was surreal and beautiful, and a chill ran through the air.

It was a strange and eerie place, yet the rabbit seemed to be at home in it. It was as if Nell was transcending the boundaries of reality and had found a new home in this strange and wondrous place.
