Arlo

Arlo

Rufus was a rabbit unlike any other - his spirit never seemed to be tamed, even in a world that was teetering on the brink of destruction. While the other rabbits huddled together in fear, Rufus was unfazed. No matter how dire the circumstances, he still managed to find joy in his day-to-day life.

When the sky would fill with the smoke from fires, and the earth would tremble from the distant sounds of war, Rufus would hop about energetically, seemingly oblivious to all the chaos and destruction. He was a living reminder of what was once pure and innocent.

And on that particular day, as the sky yawed between yellow and brown, with the faint sound of bombers in the background, Rufus called out to his fellow rabbits, his voice filled with a rare conviction: “Come play with me!”

It was a plea of sorts, a plea for them to remember what it felt like to be alive in a world of possibilities - a world that was still worthy of their laughter, even if it was on its last legs.

The other rabbits hesitated at first, unsure if they should succumb to their fear or heed the call of their wildest dreams. But gradually, they began to follow Rufus' lead, their gamboling steps slowly turning the dismal landscape into a playground of sorts.

They kicked up a cloud of dust as they raced away, convinced that there was still hope, as long as they remembered that life was worth celebrating - even at the end of the world.
