Sarabeth

Sarabeth

Sarabeth stood, unmoving, in the midst of a swirling kaleidoscope of color. The sun was setting in the west, and the sky was a dazzling array of oranges, blues and purples. The air around her was thick with wild flowers and fragrant possibilities, and she could feel the rabbit spirit stirring within her. Sarabeth had come here searching for something, though she could not quite remember what it was.

The rabbit spirit, seemingly summoned by her presence, rose gently from the meadow, taking shape and form before Sarabeth's eyes. The spirit was sky-blue and alabaster, with a luminescent glow and razor-sharp claws. Her voice was like the wind, carrying with it an ancient wisdom, and the Sarabeth felt her spirit being drawn to the rabbit spirit, as if she were an echo of her own innermost desires.

Sarabeth stood, suspended in time and motion as the two spirits danced and whirled about each other, and then finally came to a stop. The rabbit spirit bowed and smiled at her, before turning and leaping away, leaving Sarabeth and the meadow still and silent.

But the rabbit was no longer alone. In that moment, he finally knew what he had been searching for: a companion, with whom to share his journey, and to keep him company in this beautiful and ever-changing world.
