The rabbits, for their part, seemed unaware of the chaos they had caused. They kept hopping around the charred fields, looking for food, as if nothing had happened.
It was a strange sight, and one that left everyone feeling uneasy. No one wanted to believe that the rabbits were responsible for the fires and destruction, but it seemed like the only logical conclusion.
Finally, after much discussion, the people decided to keep their suspicions to themselves. They simply buried the ashes and moved on with their lives, content to let the rabbits remain in their innocence.
