RABBIT_TAKEOVER · Narrative edition
Maggy
The rabbit hopped unwittingly, entranced by a daydream of the faraway lands that it had seen, yet never quite reached. It felt a slight tug in its chest, which it recognized from before. Its fur prickled and its heart beat just a little faster, a sign that the stone embedded in its forehead was reacting to magical energies.
The rabbit continued to hop, more and more determined to explore the unknown. Soon enough, an unfamiliar smell filled its nose: the scent of rain and pine and something else, something completely unfamiliar. The colors around it began to change, too. The sky filled with brighter hues, with high-reaching swirls of cloud and arches of light.
The rabbit continued to hop, and the colors shifted again. In the distance, it could see shapes with lines and points and circles, striped and spiraled in every direction. It was a strange yet familiar sight - striped ziggurats and other spiraling constructions. The rabbit was heading to an enchanted land, and it had never been so excited.
