RABBIT_TAKEOVER · Narrative edition
Archie
Archie the rabbit sat on the overpass, his soft brown fur ruffled by the gentle breeze. he sat still, his bright, alert eyes scanning the deserted road below.
It was the end of the world. In the distance, the sky was growing darker, the clouds turning a foreboding shade of black. The ground trembled and cracked, and Archie could feel the earth beginning to crumble beneath his paws.
Suddenly, the world shook violently, and Archie tumbled off the overpass. He flailed wildly, trying desperately to regain his balance, but it was no use. The rabbit plummeted towards the earth, its ears flapping frantically in the wind.
As Archie fell, he could feel the ground rushing up to meet him, the rocks and dust looming closer and closer. Just as the ground seemed certain to swallow him up, Archie closed its eyes and let out a soft, frightened squeak.
But then, the earth stopped shaking, and the rabbit found itself lying safely on the ground. Slowly, he opened his eyes, gazing up at the clear blue sky, and taking a deep, shaky breath.
The world had not ended after all. And for that, Archie was infinitely grateful.
