Pinky

Pinky

The rabbit looked around, blinking blearily in the purple light. The strange spirals of pink and green had vanished, leaving him in a world he had never seen before. The sky was a deep, brilliant shade of purple, and a thick chartreuse fire burned near the horizon, its tendrils cascading outward in a luminous curtain of smoke.

He sniffed the air, but nothing was familiar. He could not tell if this was a good place or a bad place, a safe place or something sinister. All he could do was keep going, keep exploring, and hope that he would find something he recognized.

He took a few tentative steps forward, the ground welcoming beneath his feet. Everything seemed strangely inviting, and he was filled with a sense of anticipation. He had no idea what he was looking for, but he knew it would be something magical; something he had never seen before. He just hoped he could find it before the portal closed again.
