RABBIT_TAKEOVER · Narrative edition
Nala
Nala hopped along the stony path, enticed by the promise of new adventures. Their small black ears perked up as they heard a strange rumbling sound echoing in the distance. They quickened their step, determined to find the source of this mysterious sound, and soon reached an enormous tree of black ironwood.
Standing at the base of the tree, Nala surveyed their surroundings with amazement. Looming in the distance was what appeared to be a vast, undulating gateway; vines of thorns and petals criss-crossed through its structure, beckoning the rabbit to enter. There was something otherworldly about the gateway; something that seemed to call out to Nala, urging them to come closer.
The rabbit hesitated, wary of the unknown. But curiosity won out over caution and, finally, they stepped forward and stepped through the gateway.
Instantly, Nala found themselves in a strange organic domain, as if they had stepped into the intestines of a giant beast. Everywhere the rabbit looked, they were surrounded by strange and unfamiliar textures. The air was thick and heavy, and Nala could feel a sense of energy and life that they had never felt before.
Nala froze, paralyzed with fear. They could feel the power of this place, and knew that it was not meant for them. With a swiftness they had never before known, they turned and ran back through the gateway, grateful to be free from the weird organic entrails and relieved to be back in their own familiar world.
