Evan

Evan

Evan the rabbit didn't know what the strange-colored clouds were, but it knew one thing: they weren't supposed to be there. Evan had seen these clouds before, and each time he did his eyes felt strange, and his head felt like it was buzzing. Evan had only ever seen them near the abandoned factories that dotted the countryside.

Evan had heard horror stories from its family about the factories - tales of creatures that lived there, and of the noxious fumes that spewed from their doors. Even in the middle of the day, Evan could feel the heat radiating from the abandoned buildings, and could smell the strange odors that hung in the air.

But this day, the clouds were thicker and more colorful than ever. Evan watched as they swirled around the sky, stretching out in a dazzling display of purples, oranges, and blues. As it watched, the buzzing sensation in his head grew stronger, and the rabbit wondered what was in those fumes.
