Polly Ann peered into the time portal and saw nothing but a churning, molten mass. She huddled closer to the ground, shielding her eyes from the blinding light and stifling heat emanating from the portal. Shee had known the way back was through this portal, but now she was unsure how she would ever make it back in one piece.
Polly Ann had heard tales of adventurers who had been brave enough to take a leap of faith and brave the portal's fiery depths, only to be lost to the nothingness of time and space. For now, she decided to wait.
