RABBIT_TAKEOVER · Narrative edition
Mochi
The air that surrounded the old building felt different, almost charged with some kind of electricity. A little rabbit, who had been hopping around nearby, felt it too. She paused and cocked her head, nose twitching as if trying to better smell the building. Something strange, something hidden, was inside.
She hopped a little closer and peered through a small window, her brown eyes wide and curious. What secrets did the building hold? And why did she feel as if, somehow, it was connected to her?
Suddenly she noticed a small, red key tucked away in a crevice in the wall. Without thinking, she grabbed it with her front paws and pocketed it in her fur. The key felt warm against her skin, as if it were alive. What would happen if she used it to unlock the door?
The rabbit felt both excited and apprehensive. She was about to find out what was inside the building, but what if it was something she wasn't prepared for? She took a deep breath and steeled herself, then hopped up to the door and placed the key in the lock. With a sharp click, the door opened, and the rabbit stepped inside.
