Our show is featured on the RISD Portfolios page! Still time to go see it—at the Dedee Shattuck gallery in Westport, MA. Until Nov 10. See my work, Leslie Thornton’s and many seminal digital artists’ work from the 1960s to today.
Hello Anne - we found your name through the Hope Artiste Village. We've been looking into the possibility of moving there from Boston. My wife and I are both artists, working in porcelain, sound, and video. You FAQ about video art is very illuminating. We see you are listed as being in unit 713 - have you moved from there? We recently visited HAV and checked out one of the empty studio units, and I'm pretty sure it was 713 - a great space, by the way. All the best - Mike Bullock
Yes, I was in Unit 713—and loved it there. The building is great and there are many interesting and friendly artists and businesspeople on the corridor.
Glad you enjoyed the FAQ. It’s a work in progress so if there’s anything you think should be added, let me know!
As a contemporary art expert at Christie’s once said, “collectors get confused and concerned about things that plug in.” And while it’s true for some, there are collectors like Robert D. Bielecki,… | Oded Hirsch, Nothing New (2012), Kate Gilmore, By Any Means (2009), Nermine Hammam, Metanoia (2010), Sara Ludy, Spheres 1-20 (2013), Rollin Leonard, 360° / 18 Lilia (2013)
Words of wisdom.. and not just because I am in his collection ;-)
